to me self responsibility is taking the STEPS to reach the goal you have in mind and you cant just have a general goal because then you will never reach it or you will lie to yourself about having reached it, unless you set a specific and lots of them!
it can also mean doing the things that you really dont want to do but know that it is what needs to be done for you to succeed.
the key to gaining maximum control over your life and its outcomes is to simply do it grab your life by the horns, dont let some one else steer your life "grab the wheel and drive" to quote the water over whine song, it means if you want to get an A in a class go do some extra credit, if you want to go do something active or fun just do it dont wait for someone to take you thier because it will never happen-if you take the initiative then life will unfold for you, "build it and they will come" create your own happiness dont depend on some one else.
when you wake up in the morning dont let your attitude be this days is going to be shity unless something good happens conciously create your own outcomes by saying to yourself this is my day and its awsome put a smile on even if your not actually happy at that moment nobody can walk around with a smile on their face for to long without actually smiling and being happy!

For me self personal responsibility it means to reach the version of the life you want to have. It means to do everything do get in the right direction, to live your life as you want, to be happy in your life.
Also it means to take responsibility for the mistakes you make in your life, to be responsibile for what you are doing. You can´t run away from punishment and things like that, because it was your mistake so you have to take responisbility for it, because if not, somebody alse hast do take place for your mistakes. And I wouldn´t feel good when someone gets a punishment for something I have done.
The key to gaining maximum control over your life and its outcomes ist just to live your live as it comes. To make the best of every situations even if its sometimes really not easy.

To me self responsibility means not procrastinating and doing the things that need to be done in order for your life to be well balanced and successful.

Self responsibility to me is very important because who ells is going to responsible for you?

The key to gaining maximum control over the outcome and the experiences of life is to keep your priorities straight and to take every opportunity that comes your way.

if you keep your priorities straight you are able to accomplish your goals in life as well as the important thing that you need to do in order to achieve these goals.i also feel its very important to take every opportunity that comes your way because you will gain more knowledge in life and experiences.

Responsibility to me is a big thing that I know I need to work on. To be responsible is to be able to manage your life well. In my opinion, a responsible person is someone who can juggle many things while maintaing academic success as well. I never do this, but having a schedule for when to do certain things is probably a good thing. Organization also plays a big role in good responsibility.

Also, being a procrastinator is a big no, no. Putting things off until the last minute, or just blowing it off and saying whatever is wrong. I do this sometimes, and it is a habit I need to work on.

As with success, responsibility is something that needs self motivation. Especially at college level, teachers and parents aren't going to be there to tell you when to do your homework and balance everything life throws at you. The key to successful responsibility is you.

What does self-responsibility mean to me? Well to me, responsibility is something that is matured over time for starters. I recall when I was a tiny toddler and the only responsibility for me at that time was to run around naked. Obviously I can’t do that anymore. Which is just like saying that I can’t just stay home and not work. I have to come to class on my own time and it’s my own “responsibility” to get there on time as well.

Self-responsibility is something that is good in all its components. It keeps me focused on the important things like school, relationships, and church. While still being able to hang out with friends and occasionally party.

For me, it’s having a very accurate, well-balanced “diet” to my own success and so far its been working.

What is the “key” to gaining maximum control over the outcomes and experiences in my life? How I keep in control with my life is very simple, however there are a few times where it can get out of hand though. It’s that simple notion that I have the power to change my outcomes or keep them.

It’s that choice of, do I want to keep my old truck for a few more years or get rid of it completely? But the truth in my life is that, once I make a direct decision it becomes so much easier to “fight” for that decision. This is why I feel that my relationship with the same girl I’ve dated for (so long) has still given me such a pleasure to still be with. Now granted its now college and that could change. But I have that power for myself to keep it going or change. She has that power to change or keep going and its what motivates people just like us in situations that are similar or completely different to stay focused on the bigger picture.

Patience is probably the number one thing to grasp and hold on to at a young age. We all have that issue, especially now, of wanting something NOW! But I also know that waiting does two great things. One, it makes it that much better when you do get it (this could be associated with work and making enough money to finally buy you’re first “new” car.) And secondly, when it’s given to you NOW the interest in it isn’t as great as if you did the first way and waited (built you’re way up to it.)

So to keep myself powerful and strong, I focus on the control of my outcomes. It’s so easy to understand how much impact you can have on a certain person or school when you finally realize that you have it.

self responsibility to me means taking control of your decisions. Knowing that every choice has a outcome, and accepting that outcome whether it be good or bad.

Self responsibility is not trying to put the blame off on someone else.

the key to gaining maximum control over my life is to become independent. It is to be able to do what is necessary and not try to have someone else do it for me because if you want it done right you need to do it yourself. No one else knows how I wish to live my life so why would i let anyone else try to control it?

Self responsibilty encompasses many different things but it has a special meaning when it comes to me. Since I'm disabled, I am naturally slow. I can excel in school, but homework takes longer and it is many times more difficult to learn certain subjects than it is for others. Yet, I strive to take responsibility of my life. I realize that yes I'm disabled, yes school is hard for me, but that I shouldn't use my handicap as an excuse for not trying.

In high school, I would be overly codependent on my teachers to help me with my studies. Yet, now I must take to heart what my senior english teacher told me and learn to be more independent. For yes I will make mistakes, yes everything won't be easy, but I need to make mistakes on my own and take risks, even when I fail. Then I will be enabled to be self-responsible. To be self-responsible, you must persevere and look to for something to learn from every mistake. In the words of Alfred from Batman Begins, "Why do we fall Master Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up again."

I guess the key to maintaining control over the outcomes and experiences of your life is finding comfort in the fact that you can be a creator in your life and not opt for the self-pity of being a victim. To force a smile and try to make the best of things despite the cards you're dealt with is an enviable quality we should all desire to have. Such a quality is an essential factor in our quest for being self-responsible individuals.

The road to success is hard and despite being self-responsible, it will take a long time to reach some of your life's victories. But by sticking it out, making sacrifices of time and personal sanity, you will be able to recieve a college diploma and what ever you desire in life.

Self-responsablity means to me, being responsable for all of your actions in everyday life. You are the only one who can take action in everything that you do. So you better put good hands in the matter of whatever it is that you are doing or hoping to do.
To succeed in being self-responsable you need to learn how to differ right from wrong.
It's easier if you ast to yourself, what can benefit you more... if you do this, or if you do that.
We are college students now, we are on our own. Nobody will tell us what to do, but ourselves. So we might as well be reponsable.

I think that the key to gaining maximun control over the outcomes and experiences of my life is to ACCEPT.
Accept the fact that things aren't always going to be what we hoped for. Life isn't always easy. But life also brings us many surprises, good or bad, we need to learn and first accept our mistakes. And this way we gain maximun control over such outcomes. Because the next time that we try something we will do better, that is only if we try harder everytime to do better in life.
