Name three things that you learned from the Scavenger Hunt exercise.
- Teamwork
- Ask people for help
- That there are many papers in school were you can find helpfull and interesting things
Briefly describe how your decided to complete the task? What steps did you take?
I asked a lot of people if they know were I can find the things on the paper and I found a list on the front desk with all the names and office numbers of people working in school
What did you learn about working in a team?
I actually didn´t learn anything new, because I worked in a team, but teamwork is better then to work alone because if your partner doesn´t know something you can tell him or her and she or he can also help you if you don´t know something. And it´s of course always more fun to work with somebody together instead of working alone.
*In college, how could you make accomplishing your success a little easier and a lot more fun?
To plan the work you need to to good and to ask people if they can help you so you are maybe successful more fast and have time for other things you just want to to, for example go skiing on a very nice day, because you already done your homework because you had help from a friend

I learned a lot during the scavenger hunt exercise like where you go to receive tutoring, who to go see if your having a financial aid problem, and where to go if you are ill. The complete the scavenger hunt my partner lizzy and I filled in all the answers we already knew then we got separated so that we could get more questions answered. Then at the very end we combined are answers and asked around for the ones we could not answer. Working together to get the answers to the scavenger hunt really helped us because we where able to fill out the whole sheet and we only got two of them wrong. In college I think I could accomplish my success easier by using the help that the school provides such as free tutoring, finical aid, counselors ect…
I learned the value of teamwork, that interpersonal communication is essential to find out information, and that Janice Bell does not have all the answers. Haha.
We went downstairs at Bristol to the little information kiosk. It had a list of all the tutors. Then we went to the office to find out who could help with student loans, registration, adding and dropping classes, the whole shebang. We also used our individual bits of knowledge to help us find some answers.
I often stray from teamwork because I don't like being socialable. I realized how rewarding of an experience it is, to work together and get work done faster. People are also not as scary as I make them out to be. The greatest lesson I learned is that everybody can do something and that everybody can make contributions to their group's effort.
In college, to make things more bearable, I could learn to put myself out there. I think that as I get more intense classes starting next semester that I could enjoy studying more by starting or joining a study group. I could also do my best, but never not ask for help when I need it. By getting help from tutors and professors on occasion, I could rise to new heights and enjoy the journey.
Throughout the scavenger hunt I learned quite a few things about this college. Im not fully aware of what goes on there because I don't stay on campus, but I found that there are many services, such as health services and places for many things that are neccessary in college. I also learned that theres a lot of people to help you here.
To complete the task I decided first to look around for bulliten boards and places with names to look for the easy answers first. Then I went into the main office and there were a lot of answers in there.
I learned that working in teams can be helpful or sometimes not helpful. I tend to be independent and like figuring things out on my own and usually can get finished with it faster. But at the same time it's nice to have someone there to help you out on the things you dont know. And even if the other person doesn't know, you have a better chance of figuring it out together.
To help me gain my success more successfuly, I should utilize all the people and materials provided by the college. Knowing the right place to go for certain things will get me to my answer quicker, and will lead me to my success quicker and in a less stressful way. And along the way maybe I'll find something fun to do.

- Scavenger Hunt -
1. Who I need to go to for transfering credits to a college.
2. Who I need to go to for money-- tuition and financial aid.
3. Needing books for a research paper.
Jacob and I did a great deal of teamwork finding certain questions on the yellow paper. We also used a lot of logical thinking in the sense that if we needed (for example) to find out where to drop a course, it'd probably be close or in the main office. Both of us just took our time and agreed about everything. We accomplished what we set out for.
That two people have more knowledge than one. Because of my partner, we didn't have to walk to wilet hall to find out that information because Jacab knows the college pretty well.
By understanding where everything is, I can make my life so much easier when I need to find something. When I decide to transfer to the next school (hopefully soon) I can get help to ensure that everything will transfer. I can also get attention on the money issues I have. With all these things in mind, I have no doubt that i'll be able to get through this year and eventually be at the college I want to be at by next year.

*In college, how could you make accomplishing your success a little easier and a lot more fun?
The scavenger hunt taught me:
teamwork, how to speak up and ask for help, recouces available to me at school.
The steps I took were pretty simple. I asked what he knew and then I told my partner what I knew. It ended up my partner knew a lot more than me. My partner was more of an outloud person, meaning he was a good intruder. Meaning he wasnt scared to interupt but he did it in a polite manner.
I learned a lot from my partner. I alsot learned to work as a team in a way to communicate with another logical human being.
Name three things that you learned from the Scavenger Hunt exercise.
I learned that there is always someone at the college who is there to help you. Another thing i learned is where to go if you have a personal problem and i also learned about teamwork
Briefly describe how your decided to complete the task? What steps did you take? etc.
To complete this task me and my partner split up and asked different people different questions
What did you learn about working in a team?
i learned that you can get more done in a less amount of time and that it is more fun than working alone.
*In college, how could you make accomplishing your success a little easier and a lot more fun?
Work with people that you like and people that you know will help you achieve your goals

I learned from the scavenger hunt that it's all about the teamwork. Secondly, that if you ask for help there is always someone that is willing to help you. And last, that you should never hesitate someone to ask for help, in this school, everyone is here to help you with anything that you need.
We worked in partners for this activity. My friend Stephanie and I gathered first the information that we knew already and jot it down on the paper. Then, since we had so little time to complete the scavenger we had to spilt together and run through the building asking people for help. Finally, we run into each other and wrote everything that we had gathered.
Working as a team re-taught me that if you split the work you can be over with it in half the time. But if you don't have a time-limit, it's better not to divide the work, because that way you learn better and it's more fun if your friend is actually with you the whole time.
If you are in college, and you want to accomplish your success with fun in the middle. You should work in groups with people that you actually like I did on the scavenger hunt. Because you are doing something productive that will help you achieve your success and at the same time you are having fun with your friends. Because they are in the same ride, to study and learn and to have fun.
During the scavenger hunt i learned, 1) Where to find the people i need to get things done, 2) How helpful the people in the main office are, and 3) how to use school resources.
To complete this task we headed down to the office. We stopped along the way to find out some tutors names. When we got to the office we first looked at some of the name tags in front of each office. then we asked some of the people in those office what exactly they do. After that we collated our lists and asked mike Brumbaug a quick question and we were done.
I learned that you can get things done a little quicker in a team. Maybe this means that to accomplish my success i could divide my homework with some one else to get it done faster.
*Three things I learned from the scavenger hunt were that there are many people that can help me around the school and campus. I also learned that when working in a team, things can be accomplished quickly if handled properly. Another thing I learned was who to talk to about finding a part-time job. Which is a good thing since I need on sevearly.
*To accomplish this task we used the resources all around the school. Such things included flyers posted, lists of tutors, lists of faculty and job descriptions. We also used people; asking what their jobs were, how they could help us, or where to find some one. Some people refused to help and others were willing and very usedful.
* This excercise didnt really teach me much but refreshed my knowledge of why teamwork is helpful. I've know for years that with teamwork, things can be done efficiently. It works in all aspects of life; work or play. This excercise made me realize that I can be using teamwork more often to make my life a bit easier.
three things that i learned from the scavanger hunt would be one that even when you think you have the right answer double check it, two that janice bell is not the one stop shop for everything that i need to get done with school, two that if you need to do anything to do with school then you shoud first figure out who you need to talk to, and third that it pays to talk to the right person if you want things to get done much quicker.
how we decided to complete the task was simply to go at it start looking and then move forward from where we couldnt find an answer at.
i learned that when you use every possible resource you will probably have better information and when you divide and conqour in many case's you will be finished much more quickly.
all i have to do in college to make my success a little bit easier and a lot more fun would be to get help in the subject's i strugle with such as math an they would be less painfull then they are at present.
